Describe a lighting moment 

The light installation that i chose is called Water Pendulum made by Olafur Eliasson.This work is one of his  installations exploring moving of water, which I had the pleasure of seeing at the Red Brick Museum in Beijing a few years ago.

The device was placed in complete darkness around the environment, a water jet pipe was placed from top to bottom, due to the pressure of water impacting the ground so that the pipe will show a random sway. Around the top of the pipe, several strobe lights were placed.The strobe lights were chosen to randomly capture the moment of water in the air, and the light was a cooler white, which made the water droplets look more pure and clear. At the same time with the water impact on the ground will have a more intense sound, in the dark environment, more awe-inspiring and focused. When the light is shining, it will light up the local water flow and local ground, random unpredictable local irradiation, will make people more easily focus on the material and the nature of the movement.
